Course Structure

To qualify as a member of the ACCA a candidate must do the following:
  • Tentative and clear 13 examinations (ACCA provides exemptions in some examinations depending on the previous qualification of the candidate)
  • Record the experience of 36 months on a relevant role. After completion of the qualification, the candidate can acquire the experience before / during/.
  • Complete the Modul of Ethics and Professional Skills.

ACCA 's 13 courses and exams are split into three levels: Knowledge , Skills & Professional.

Knowledge Level

  • Accountant in Business (AB)
  • Management Accounting (MA)
  • Financial Accounting (FA)

Candidates are awarded the Accounting and Business Diploma (RQF Level 4) upon successful completion of First Three Exams. i.e. Accountant in Business (AB), Management Accounting (MA) and Financial Accounting (FA) exams PLUS completion of the Foundations in Professionalism.

Skills Level

  • Corporate and Business Law(LW)
  • Performance Management
  • Taxation (TX)
  • Financial Reporting (FR)
  • Audit and Assurance (AA)
  • Financial Management (FM)

Students are awarded the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business once they have successfully completed the Applied Skills exams (either passed or exempted). There must have been at least two of those papers sat and passed.

Professional Level

  • Strategic Business Reporting(SBR)
Optionals:

A Strategic Professional Certificate is awarded to students when they have successfully completed all of the ACCA Qualification Strategic Professional exams. These are the two Strategic Professional Essentials examinations and any two of the Strategic Professional Options examinations.

Ethics and Professional Skills Module

Students are required to complete 20 hrs of Ethics and Professional Skills Module which develops the full range of skills that employers require in students.

Students are willing to shine with recruiters by introducing students to the full spectrum of advanced ethical and professional skills and exposing them to realistic business situations and being truly credible on the job.

Practical Experience Requirement

To qualify as a member of the ACCA, the candidate must complete a relevant work experience of at least 36 months and achieve 9 performance goals.

A practical experience supervisor must sign off the time of the candidate in a relevant role and the performance goals.

* Minimum Entry Requirements:

10th Pass from Cambridge or 12th Pass in Commerce, ICS, Pre-engineering or Pre-medical. Marks doesn't matters.

# Please note that even a CA Final Candidate may be eligible to receive more exemptions if he / she scored 40 + marks in the CA Final Examination in the relevant subject matter.

Similarly, a candidate who has not qualified for CA IPCC Exams but has scored more than 40 marks in the subject matter of CA IPCC Exam is eligible for more exemptions.

Note: The Business Accountant (AB), Management Accounting (MA) and Financial Accounting (FA) exams have the same structure and syllabus as the Diploma Exams at the Foundation level (FAB, FMA, and FFA, respectively).

ACCA Applied Skills Exams

Using spreadsheets and processing tools, a variety of OT questions, multi-task questions and constructed answers questions.

Duration: 3 Hrs and 15 Minutes for reading
Total Marks 100 Marks
Passing Marks 50 (50%)

The 3-hour examination will evaluate all parts of the syllabus and test knowledge and some exhaustive or application of this knowledge.

When are the ACCA exams held?

ACCA has a flexible approach to study.

ACCA has two kinds of computer-based examinations.

  • CBEs on-demand: AB-LW: can take these exams at any time of year.
  • Session CBEs: PM-FM: The examinations take place in four exam sessions: March, June, September and December.
  • Strategic professional paper Based examinations: Essentials and 2 options: These examinations take place in four examination sessions: March, June, September and December.
  • Strategic professional CBE: introducing from the beginning March 2021.
